We are very happy and proud to carry the new PaperStone Certified
product line by PanelTech. PanelTech has spent years designing
and developing this line. PanelTech is very committed to using
the most environmentally friendly composite products in the
world and we think that PaperStone Certified shows our commitment.
PaperStone Certified is a FSC certified product that has been
approved by SmartWood and the Rainforest Alliance. We use
a 100% post-consumer recycled paper that is FSC certified
and made specifically for us by the Grays Harbor Paper Company.
The resin system is designed by us and made in our resin plant,
that we built this past year. It is a water base resin system
that uses non-petroleum based phenols and when finished has
no detectable free formaldehyde. These are huge advancements
in paper and resin and we will continue to make more advancements
in the area of cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) phenols. Our
goal is to one day use only CSNL phenols. While we love this
new product we will continue to innovate in the area of environmentally
responsible products.
PaperStone Certified has the same great attributes that PaperStone
original has. They both have a water absorption of less than
1% with a compressive strength of 45,000 PSI. |
